Felix Marx is Chief Executive Officer of QUS Tech GmbH, a European deep-tech company that integrates highly sensitive vital-sign and movement sensors into washable textiles. With Heartbeat ID, QUS is building a new class of biometric identity: continuous, spoof-proof authentication through each person’s individual cardiac signature – for cybersecurity and financial services, defence and public safety, and elite sport. Since December 2025 he has been responsible for the company’s strategy, financing, partnerships and international scaling.
Previously he was Executive Vice President at Mastercard and CEO of Trūata, which he built as employee number one and integrated into the Mastercard group in 2023. In Asia Pacific he ran Mastercard’s Data & Services business with around US$600 million in revenue and nearly 1,000 people, and sat on the board of Mastercard Asia Pacific. As CEO he led C-SAM through to its acquisition by Mastercard, and Identive Group, listed on Nasdaq and the Frankfurt stock exchange. At Philips and NXP Semiconductors he built the NFC business and co-founded the NFC Forum with Nokia and Sony. He began his career at Ericsson.
